March Program: Lyn Snoddy, IDF&G

March 3 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

Lyn Snoddy, IDF&G

Ringtail Cat – a surprise visitor, and Idaho’s Freshwater Mussels

Please join Prairie Falcon’s March Program in person (masks) and on ZOOM

ZOOM Link:

Lyn will talk about the recent ringtail observation in our area and why that is significant. She’ll also provide information about Idaho’s freshwater mussels – how to identify them and little about conservation status and life history.

Lyn Snoddy is a Regional Wildlife Diversity Biologist with the Idaho Department of Fish & Game. She grew up in south-central Louisiana, where the TV show Swamp People is filmed. She went to school at LSU and Arkansas Tech and primarily worked on waterfowl projects across the lower 48 and Alaska before settling in Idaho. In her current dream job, she gets to work with amphibians, beavers, tiger beetles, bumble bees, and most recently mussels and crayfish, and she would not want it any other way. Lyn, her husband John, and their dog Dapper, enjoy hiking, rafting, fishing, hunting, and while it’s been much too long of a hiatus, seeing live music.
